After much debate and a poll, which did nothing more than eliminate all the names on the list, we finally decide on the name. The name is………………..Did you think I was going to tell you? Let’s say we went through and calculated all the numbers and finally we found a name fit for a king or queen. It was a long process and it was almost like naming your own kid. I am not joking when I tell you we thought of so many names that our heads hurt like someone beat them with a club. We took it name by name and had to eliminate names such as deuce and jacks. In the end we think we found the perfect name! It is a name that will become close to our hearts. It is a diamond in the rough. Can you guess what it is?

Only around 2 months old!!!

Well today is the day we officially decided to get a puppy!!! Through many conversations, some good, some bad, we have decided to take the leap and become parents to a 4-month old Shiba Inu Puppy.
We are fully aware that this decision is going come with some hard times and make me wonder why I signed up for this, but at the same time we know he will be a wonderful addition to our family that will bring lots of good memories.
“Gerry”, (soon to be another name) is flying in from Northwest, MO. He was raised so far by a family who owns West Fork Puppies (http://www.westforkpuppies.com/). This family has been so helpful with the whole process by answering questions, calming nerves, and getting us prepared for a new puppy in our home. I have to say every question was answered the same day via email! Not to bad!
Marcos, I have to say is the most excited. He has never had a dog before, and the thought of one, well… you would think he is bringing his own kid into the world! Me, on the other hand, is a little bit more skeptical, and I am just waiting to see what happens….
Don’t get me wrong, I love the idea of having a dog… but the idea of poop, chewing, and shedding… not so much! But like I said, I am jumping into this head first and I know if we start training early we might just have the best little dog ever!!!
